We recommend the less washing of your knitwear the better, however if you do need to wash your Briella piece, we recommend handwashing and following the simple steps below:

1. Fill a sink or tub with cool water and add a mild soap or wool wash.
2. Submerge your Briella knit and soak for approx. 30mins.
3. Drain water and rinse your knit to remove excess soap. Be mindful not wring out your piece to avoid altering the shape of the cardigan/ jumper.
4. Lay your Briella piece on a towel.
5. Roll up the towel and apply gentle pressure to remove excess water.
6. Lay the towel flat and reshape your knit and leave to dry. 
   
   

Do not:

• Tumble dry
• Bleach
• Iron
• Wring

Pilling of your knitwear is completely normal and is a result of wool and cotton fibres shedding from the yarns. This happens naturally when wearing and loving your Briella piece. To revive your knitwear gently brush with a wool comb in the direction of the fibres

At Briella, we recommend storing your knits folded in shelving and avoid hanging to reduce risk of your knit becoming stretched and losing shape.
